Downloading Data

Once data is uploaded, it becomes instantly accessible via the Irys gateway. To download data, make a GET request.

The gateway endpoint follows this pattern:

https://gateway.irys.xyz/:transactionId

For example:

https://gateway.irys.xyz/CO9EpX0lekJEfXUOeXncUmMuG8eEp5WJHXl9U9yZUYA

Note

The Irys L1 is in mainnet beta. Retrieval depends on the network and storage service used for the original upload. Updating an SDK or changing the endpoint for future uploads does not automatically move existing data or change its transaction ID. For a legacy integration, verify retrieval of your existing IDs before changing the application's configuration. Devnet data is temporary and follows the documented devnet retention period.
